Hedy Matuszak serves as Vice President of Inland Real Estate Brokerage & Consulting, Inc. Ms. Matuszak joined The Inland Real Estate Group of Companies in 1998 as a loan servicing representative and has been with the commercial real estate brokerage division of Inland since 2000. In her role as Vice President, Ms. Matuszak is responsible for business operations including information and transaction management, finance coordination, multi-state licensing, compliance, and coordination of corporate memberships with REALTOR® associations. Ms. Matuszak also serves as Vice President and managing broker of Inland Real Estate Network, Inc., overseeing the marketing, recruitment, licensing, referral activities and compensation of more than 190 real estate licensees. During her career with Inland, Ms. Matuszak has been instrumental in the creation and development of new Inland companies including Inland Real Estate Auctions, Inc. and Inland Real Estate School, Inc., and serves as an officer of several Inland entities.
Paul Montes, Vice President, joined Inland Real Estate Brokerage & Consulting, Inc. in 2006 after 15 years in real estate analysis, development and private business. Mr. Montes has established a diversified background representing institutional and private clients with acquisitions and dispositions of commercial assets throughout Illinois. He has achieved cross-discipline success executing significant transactions in multiple commercial sectors - retail, industrial, office and land development. With transactions in excess of $57M in recent years, his achievements include Inland Real Estate Brokerage & Consultings’ Salesman of the Year/Top Producer in 2013, 2012, 2010 and 2009; Listing Team of the Year Award 2014 and 2010, Sales Team/Top Producers Award 2007 and SomerCor Broker of the Year Award 2008. Eric Spiess, Vice President, joined Inland Real Estate Brokerage & Consulting, Inc. in 2006. Specializing in the disposition and leasing of commercial investment properties, Mr. Spiess has completed transactions totaling more than $55M in recent years. Notable transactions include a 420-unit multi-family complex in Glendale Heights; the negotiation of a long term lease with Olivet Nazarene University in Oak Brook; the assemblage and sale of a 5-property parcel on Ogden Avenue in Westmont for a new grocery concept; a regional market expansion of over 13 Hearing Lab locations; and the sale of a 68,000 sf industrial building in Glendale Heights. He was the recipient of the Top Sales Team Award in 2013, 2012, 2010 and 2009; the Top Listing Team award in 2014 and 2010; and SomerCor Broker of the Year Award in 2008. Alison Hastings, MAI is the team leader of Valuation & Advisory, LLC within the Inland Real Estate consulting group. Her real estate experience spans the United States with engagements as far as Hawaii. Alison specializes in litigation support valuation and consulting assignments. The concentration of her practice focuses on tax appeal, condemnation, marital dissolution, estate planning and settlement, property damage, neighborhood opposition/value impact, and federal land acquisition “yellow book” issues. Alison comes to Inland after a successful 11 year affiliation with MaRous & Company, where she gained valuable litigation support valuation and consulting experience. Ms. Hastings graduated from the University of Arizona with majors in finance and real estate. She is a certified general real estate appraiser in Illinois, and received her MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute. She is currently serving her third year as an appointee on the DuPage County Expanded Board of Review.
William D. Dozier, Jr., Broker Associate, brings over 10 years of real estate experience in multiple areas including mortgages, sales, transaction operations, property management and title insurance to Inland Real Estate Brokerage & Consulting, Inc. Mr. Dozier entered the real estate field in 2002 during the rise of the housing market. As the Senior Mortgage Consultant at BMAC Mortgage/Real Estate, he quickly became the top producing loan originator in his office and held the post each month for 5 consecutive years. He was also responsible for assisting the broker with sales transactions, loan processing supervision, vendor review and selection (appraisal and title companies). Mr. Dozier focuses on building client relationships and credits his success on his determination to exceed his clients’ expectations. As an investment property owner, Mr. Dozier successfully managed a number of multi-family units. He is a local product of De La Salle Institute in Chicago, Class of ’89, and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Western Illinois University, Class of ‘93. Daniel Wagner Senior Vice President Government Relations - Inland Real Estate Group Daniel Wagner is Senior Vice President of Government Relations for The Inland Real Estate Group of Companies. He has been a licensed real estate broker since 2004 and holds Series 7 and Series 63 Security licenses. Dan currently serves on numerous real estate industry, and governmental boards and committees. He is President of the Chicago Association of REALTORS® (C.A.R.) He serves on the Illinois Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors and is the Chair of the REALTOR® Political Action Committee Trustees. Dan also was recently elected Treasurer Elect for the Illinois Association of Realtors. For the National Association of REALTORS® he is the 2016 Commercial Liaison. He is also a commissioner on the DuPage Airport Authority and serves as the Chairman of the Authority’s Capital Development Committee. He is Chairman of the Greater Oak Brook Chamber of Commerce and actively involved with the Village of Oak Brook. He is also a Trustee for The Conservation Foundation. As a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Dan has been a significant contributor and advocate for the Marketplace Fairness Act currently in debate by the U.S. Congress. Dan is also a member of the Investment Program Association’s Public Affairs Committee and part of the Real Estate Roundtable’s 1031 Like Kind Exchange Coalition. He is a board member for the Civic Federation of Chicago and active in the Illinois Chamber of Commerce, Illinois Manufacturers Association, Illinois Retail Merchants Association and the United States Chamber of Commerce. In 2014, he received the Advocacy Award from the Illinois Park and Recreation Association for his work on behalf of special needs children in his community. Donovan Meade, Broker Associate, brings to the Inland team more than 15 years of experience in brokerage, auctions, and finance, and has facilitated the sale of multi-family, commercial, office, retail, industrial, and residential properties. Specializing in lender owned portfolios, Mr. Meade represents banks, developers, corporations and investors. He is well versed in an advisory capacity in structured lender work-outs, foreclosures, short sales and judicial sales. Prior to joining Inland, Mr. Meade resided in Los Angeles, CA where he was a real estate consultant, senior mortgage consultant, operations and business development manager for KB Real Estate Investment & Mortgage, Inc., managing all transaction sales, product development, operations, regulatory compliance, marketing strategies, and the packaging of presentations of high value transactions to both brokers and investors. Prior to his tenure with KB Real Estate Investment & Mortgage, Inc., he worked in real estate finance with Fidelity & Trust Mortgage, Inc. and Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Inc. Mr. Meade earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Hamline University of St. Paul, MN. Eugene D. Andre, CCIM is a Senior Broker with Inland Real Estate Brokerage & Consulting, Inc. engaged in business development with owners and managers of CRE. Mr. Andre’s experience includes engagements with international investors across the U.S. in investment sales and tenant representation for corporate clients and project and property management assignments in super-regional retail malls.
Mr. Andre is fluent in Russian and German, and has represented international institutional and private clients with acquisitions and dispositions of CRE throughout the United States and abroad. Prior to joining Inland, Mr. Andre was with Colin Fox & Associates in Houston, TX. Prior to Fox, he was a senior account tenant representative at Jones Lang LaSalle CIS in Moscow, Russia. Mr. Andre has advised and represented clients in complex transactions including valuation, due diligence including performance and location/GIS analysis, and managed long-term investment acquisitions for clients' portfolios.
As a project manager in shopping mall development, Mr. Andre achieved cross-discipline success in marketing and management, to include the interior design project group and designing performance analytics and loyalty programs. Mr. Andre's experience with super-regional shopping malls includes capital budget planning, construction, improvements and facility management. He successfully managed the opening and leasing of 180+ retail stores.
Eugene holds a CCIM certification, is a licensed broker in Illinois and Texas, and holds an M.S. degree in Engineering. He is a member of the Chicago Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, and the Illinois Association of Realtors.
Katalina Villalpando, Broker Associate with Inland Real Estate Brokerage & Consulting, Inc. engages in business development with CRE owners and maintains a client base for the firm’s buyer representation service line. Ms. Villalpando earned her B.S. from Indiana University - Bloomington where she was a member of the Kelley School of Business Real Estate Club. At the request of Cushman & Wakefield, Ms. Villalpando participated in a legislative session on real estate in Washington D.C. Ms. Villalpando began her real estate career as an intern with Wyndham Worldwide in Florida.
